Oh Danny Boy - Travis Hancock
On January 7, 2017 we paid tribute and said our goodbyes to our nephew, Danny Wechsler. I do not know how he got through it but Travis Hancock mustered his strength and gave this moving performance at the service in honor of his cousin. Our hearts go out to our Wechsler family members and we thank everyone who helped make today so special for our entire family!

Wouah!!!!
Wouah!!!!
I think, it's absolute necessary to mention Eriks Esenvalds here in the title, because he writes these unbelievable compositions an arrangements.
bogazici jazz choir better
How unusual. Sounds like fun!
Love this piece.
Gorgeous. This is one of my favorite choral pieces, and this is a great performance.
This is a nice job. Funny and exactly how the character needs to act. Great job to the tenor.
Why thank you very much!
best performance ever!! :) so good to feel piano, forte, decrescendo, crescendo.... congratulations guys. :) <3<3<3

Linda versión, quién realizó el arreglo para esta pieza?
百聽不厭!!👍👍
MAGNIFIQUE !!!!
Very nice
This is not William Byrd. Byrd's music is always unaccompanied
I guess it's never too late to see and hear ol' friends. Looking back, I pine a bit and hope that all that was, knows "such a Heart" someday." -mah
Need more pressing on sopran and tenor
Owesom.
Beautiful but for sure not William Byrd.
Do you know who is the real composer of this version?
WHY WAS THE ORGAN NOT USED?
*sopranos come in* *ALL IMMEDIATELY BLEND WITH JULIA*
Science is cool! lol
<3
What a bunch of goobers
Wrong key but oh well it was still great
this is right
2:17 LOL That one really quick clap as if it were over.
Good sound, but they're singing too classically. This is meant to showcase the nasal ability.
@Marlon Jazen Arcaina (ma9014) The only time the score asks for nasal tone is in that repeating line of the woman's parts near the end of the piece. Anyway, my ears hear them doing a variety of different vowel shapes, not just open/tall ones.
Blue for You yea it does only for a specific part in the song but the whole song is to sound oddly unique. It’s supposed to sound like nonsense, hence why the group was called Nonsense (something like that I forgot lol)
Sounds like it's not in the same key as the composed version
I saw you guys for a HS field trip. This song stood with me.
Same! Saw them in 2013/2014 and come back to this video ever since
I love this director now only beacuse he good and do choral music but he does music that the studnets enjoy singing and he also let u have fun and push u to a Elavated musical level that u will never thought u would go !!

I had this conductor for state choir!!! Mr.Rogers he was great!
Beautiful piece and a well rehearsed choir! Well done!
They sang it whole step higher than the original. It sound weird.

I absolutely love this song. Cesar Carillo, what a talented composer.
Thank you for sharing the Beauty of life performed by Human. Always a pleasure.
i am in Africa and im so breathtaken by this rendition and the energy in the perfomance. Well done guys please keep the standards high up there. contact me if you also want some afrocentric fusions, i have a couple of ideas. God bless
The reason for the movement. The song is about the eternal light. For many this can mean a savior, or for others just heaven, or the afterlife. As we sang, we were all people lost in the afterlife. In that darkness we didn't know where to look, each of us looking for the light. Some of us together others alone. Every one of us found the light looking and smiling as the song began. Then we resume being ourselves, remembering so many loved ones who passed into that sweet light we see above us. For me anyways. I remember the words "eternal light" for me meaning that I would be able to join my family and friends one day, and be together forever. Each verse the light gets closer and closer, each of us growing more emotional or happy. Then we turn to the audience and stand from where we are, to bring it audience into the scene. To make them feel that they are just like us all, looking for a light. Somewhere.... anywhere. We wanted to touch them, to bring this show they were watching, this emotional, soulful performance and make them part of it. To touch their lives. To let them all know that they are our light, that they too are finding their light, that there is hope and every other beautiful message written in the words and notes of that song. Then during the ending solo we all pictured her as the angel, the guide, the light that led us through the darkness, that IS leading us through the darkness. So beautiful and amazing and brilliant. Telling everyone just to find that light, to focus on it and let it take them where they belong. At least, that's what I thought of, and what I wanted to perform and convey to the hearts of the people watching. I'm sure if you ask each of us, we all would have something different. But I like mine. Haha.
